The goal of this document was to summarize research related to waterfowl and wetlands at Lake St. Clair, one of the most important wetland complexes to waterfowl in the Great Lakes. Much of the landscape within the Lake St. Clair region has been drastically altered through wetland drainage, conservation to agricultural lads, recreational disturbance, urbanization, and industrial development. By consolidating the most recent information on the Lake St. Clair region, we hope to increase awareness of the current issues affecting conservation and to attract further research and conservation to the region.
